Children Parents & Schools
This course offers an advanced examination of the relationships between children, parents and
schools, employing sociological theories and empirical literature. Attention is paid to mitigating factors of social class, gender and race with an emphasis on the links between family life and educational

Prerequisite: SY389 (or SY387 or SY388); SY210 (or SY204*) or SY201* or SY316*.
